Well, I can firmly say that this thread entirely sounds like a bad discussion of Jedi/Sith relations...

More to the point I should hope that this board remains open to all. It's the entire community that furthers the art of Information Security.

For myself, I am a bit more monochromatic than a true white or black hat... I guess the best approximation would be Grey (50%).

Black, white, gray? I prefer using red hat to describe myself, inspired by the Red Mage from Final Fantasy doing a little of everything. I am mostly focused on white hat stuff, but know that sometimes the darker arts are needed to get things done. At present I'm mostly wearing my learning hat though.

I stopped wearing hats a long time ago, but regaring the HOH I think it's a mix of all colours.

White, Black, Gray, it doesn't really matter. Yin-Yang. One Cannot know light if all that exists is dark. And no matter the amount of light a room may encompass, shadows still exist... Aside from that Zen-Buddhist Stuff ... To answer the question above; It would be "gray hat", right in the middle. Anything too blackhat will probably be banned.

Does anyone actually wear a hat? Way off topic here, but I think its time to change the standard white hat black hat to something more realistic. While it'd be cool to wear a white or black fedora, I more commonly wear... socks :P So, if you wanna wear grey socks, go ahead. It also counts as grey if you have black and white socks, one black sock and one white sock. If you aren't wearing socks, you sir, are no hacker XD

ok that was just random.

I do wear a black fedora, with a white lining... but my socks are never consistent... so I say maybe something more noticeable... like the face of a watch... or a bracelet... or a ring... Something that would be easily noticeable and easy to make your own.
