I've found AVG to work just as well as the commercial programs without the resource hogging. Good stuff for the best price... free.

As I know AVG its for Linux, but why you use antivirus for Linux?Or maybe you have windows from uncle Bill????Kill uncle Bill!)

Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.0.125 on desktop and laptop. I'm using trial but trial not over. :)

I use avast home edition, probertly not the best, but no virus has entered, orr.. maybe the AV just dosnt cought it? hmm..

hope it does because it updates thier DB 10 times a day, pretty anoying ..

On my Macbook, I run VirusBarrier X5 by Intego. I've only been running it for about a month now and only because I feel that Intel based Mac's are beginning to attract to much attention.

I don't do Windows (at all) ...

My home server of the FreeBSD flavor - it's hardened and monitored heavily with alerts should something whacky start happening.

i don't use IE, i don't use Outlook, i what's running on my computer, so i don't run an antivirus.
i can say that many, many of my peers have been infected with something or other the last few years. all caused indirectly by using: aim, ie, outlook.

but you are still vulnerable to some worms, even if you don't use any of these programs.
