This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but it seems that people are more and more lazy and just don't want to help themselves. I talk to people in real life and on the Internet and it's just "how do I do xxxx" with simple things like .torrents, password retrieval CDs, freaking split .rar files, EVERYTHING! I have always told my friends that it's dangerous to put personal information on MySpace and, well, basically any online profile. I proved that 2 nights ago to one of my buddies. He asked me what got me started on hacking and had a few other questions about methods and such. While we were talking, I was able to gain access to several of his accounts.

I haven't been around much in the last month or so. Last month we had 4 servers die at work, which basically meant I had 1 week to get all 4 servers running again, reinstall all applications, set the appropriate permissions, and get all the client PCs communicating with them again. It was a pain, and everything still isn't working 100%. We're running along smoothly for the most part though. I'm going whitewater rafting down the Ocoee river in TN with a bunch of friends of mine. We'll be leaving out in the morning at 8am and won't be back till either late Sunday night or early Monday morning. Both as an individual and as a network administrator, I have a few goals that I would like to accomplish from this site. The main reason I joined this is for the security aspect of my job. Keeping our network secure and free from black hats, viruses, spyware/malware, and all that other crap is one of my main tasks here.
