abacre file encryption is a file that holds a username and password for this i havent worked with however once you have it on your computer use the site sectools.org there are several tools on there that will allow you to bypass the password in order to break it it looks like this is 128 bit encryption tool i would look into that good luck on ur last day at class the net use should def work Delete Comment
there is a encryption tool called pointsec thats does this
This will work
if you use the net use the way i said
cmd :
net use \\192.168.1.1\c$ it will prompt you for username pws
and thats will get you in as for pointsec you have to get the file on the host called PME or this will be like 2.0 gb
check it out steal the PME file and / or download pointsec
once your in the users admin share you will be able to see there programs correctly so u can identify them right there on the spot
ok now Im getting "network path not found"
but Ive been having trouble with this crappy belkin router forever, this isnt new
so ill try it at school tomorrow in the command prompt (cause ive been using "run"), if it works great, if it doesnt then I guess Ill just get partial credit for attempting (cause tomorrow is the last day)
open start menu then accessories go to command prompt and run command prompt as administrator not just regular account logged in currently.
Also if there is more then one partitioned drive you can also try the other drives for example E , and any other letter try to run the command prompt with admin credentials. Glad to hear your teacher was impressed. bet he really was happy. Try to run the credentials that way and let me know if that does not work let me know and ill make a work around for you .
if you are correctly accessing the admin share it should take you the the c drive not shared docs. Shared docs is because that is a shared folder \\192.168.1.1\c$ try that replace the ip with whatever you need to etc. Lets see infosyssec.org banned you
I worked with the cain and abel program last night it will work for you but you have to make sure you set it up correctly.
Listen i would say that if you have access to physical machine just enable the guest account and then you can get it that way remotely.

open a command prompt
type net use \\ 192.168.1.1\c$
it will prompt you for admin username and then password and your in
Try it and let me know how it works out
run a command prompt as admin
then type net use \\192.168.1.1\c$
This will work around the username box and password most likely
