I've finished some books on C++ and don't know where to start or what to do with what i know. I thought of creating a game using direct X but see that you need quite a lot of knowledge about the classes in it. does any1 know where i can learn more...

I'm joining this group in the hope of learning a lot. There aren't anyone in my area that I can ask for help coz I live in the middle of nowhere called Namibia. I already know some C++ and would like to start learning some Direct X next and want to put a team together and start making a game( I have someone writing the story already). The game is made fully by volunteers and will be available for free. Everyone that join wants to learn. I'm still looking for a good Direct X book though...
