Hey Grim Reaper, yo dude I'm pretty interested with hacking and stuff, I was wondering if you did this? http://www.styrkeloft.org/
I compared the name "grimm reaper" online with people who does security breaches, in case you did that and want to give some tips for me online I'm ready to pay some $$ mail me please.
hi guys... dun mind if i crash in. Totally agree on the portion snapz commented about learning thru own research. Don't you realized that the human brain tends to remember things most that we discover ourselves? It must be due to the fact that we spent hours on cracking the problem.
Those are all good to have under your belt the more the better. I must say though to me, a pen tester you have to be pretty bad ass @ what you want to achieve in this art/goal.
Studying to be a computer engineer you should already know this question correct?
Like I said before, depends on what your going to pay the money for to learn.
I must say say though you can learn much more cheaper, doing your own research.
Also they have online classes to have you as well. I have found I learned way more about the real deal not from school but from reading, testing, and trial and error on my own!
Aww your a Science Engineering student, very cool. To answer your question....
I am a System Network admin for a small security firm. My interests are security,
programming, and currently learning about reversing as a hobby.

Nice to meet you Grim Reaper..... What is your course of study at the moment?
Grim, that depends actually; and depends on a number of factors, like which kind of firm you join? service or product or security specific?
I feel happy to know that you are still in 1st year. Keep learning through the forums, mailing lists etc. The perspective will get even more clearer.
And who knows, someday I might hire you... or even better, you might hire me ;)
