Had some fun yesterday. One of the Field Salesman sent in their laptop that was infected by a virus. Somehow the new antivirus software was no installed on the system but the old software was uninstalled. Now I wonder how that could have happened?! (grin)
Anyway, I spent 2 and a half hours on it..tracking down the thing. I always enjoy the hunt. It had renamed notepad and put a dummy in it's place, high jacked the desktop background and home page of IE,disabled task manager and replaced the wind… Continue
