Greetings all. Just got another Mac (2.4 Ghz Imac) after many years away. Been using Linux since 99. Good to be back, although I still use VMWare Fusion to run Slackware.

Yeah, I have that book, it's pretty good.

I've launched an exclusive forum for Penetration Testing on Mac OS X. The place is empty at the moment because it's brand new. If you actively pen test using OSX, or against OSX, feel free to come and start discussions.

wishi: Somehow I'm not sure I agree. Many developers I know use Macs exclusively. Most of the tools are there, although it's true that some of them take a bit of work to get working. From a security standpoint this is also true, but I'm finding that most tools now compile fine under OSX (not to mention Paralles/Fusion can be used for Windows-only tools).
PowerBook G4 and Intel iMac 2.4Ghz 2GB RAM here.
