what webhosting site would you recommend for me? I want to start a portfolio etc. any creative ideas? anything that you hate seeing on other peoples sites?

same. but maybe that's because my slow download speed and my broken flash codec on ubuntu xD

depends... i would bet my left foot on squarespace! they have an awsome system of putting up simple or very complex sites in min! Depends on the detail you want...

not much detail or flash. just a plain host. thanks for the replies. i have some ideas in my head now :p
