LAN hacking and password crack

there is a remote computer connected to 2 other computers via lan,,the remote computer uses user password....
1) are there some new ways to hack th system??
if we use netbios it shows error as the system is not added in the domain services...
as the case u cant use net view command to see the shared disks or files..

2)one of the system has hacked the remote system is there any way to use the system and access the remote system??

If the password isn't sent securely you could just sniff it with wireshark.

u can use Cain and Abel
