House of Hackers LOGO

Hi,
I am just brainstormnig some of the ideas to have the Nice looking logo for House of Hackers.
any comments/ideas `?

I like the images that the GnuCitizen group
use for all their sites but it probably would
be a good idea to create a smaller logo
that can be put onto websites as an affiliation link.

I also like "big white reflecting text", it is simple.

But I just made one simple logo. It is composed from letters HoH, one 'H' for black hats, one 'H' for white hats, and it can symbolize house;-). It has one major drawback - it can't be used on black background. (Aside from that it is possible that this kind of logos are quite common, I don't know, I am not logo designer.)

that looks nice! but the problem is that it is not correct from physics point of view. reflection doesn't work that way. :)

the reflection could be off one of the H's but
that may suggest bias to one of the "hat's"

true, haven't thought about that although it seems like all the laws of the physics are broken :)

It depends how you look at it. If you see cube, then reflection is wrong. If you see 2D "card", then it's good;-). I made one with "3D" reflection and black background.

Mate, I am graphics designer and that looks fine to me (black background). Shrunk down, with houseofhackers.ning.com beside (alternate colors per section of url), would be fine for a little badge or similar. Would of course need to be done more hi-res than what you have there, but very easy to do. ;) talk to PDP about it.
