aim just wondering... what os do you use when you go to hack?
i supose not windows? :p
and have you got a baisc procudure when you go on a hack quest?

i use almost always bt3 and knoppix-std or sometimes whoppix.

what about you?

why don't you ?
maybe you the "whois" command line is very usefull on linux but there are many usefull tools & langages on windows too and the most people use this OS & in the end ; it's easy to hack ;)

i personal think that its easy on Linux because i have more options i can do.. write me own script and so on.
but on windows you have cain en that kind of thins.. and even the whois command and the wget is avalible on windows.
but i think linux hase more options for doining it then windows...

and linux dont hase bsod :)

fact.. backtrack is one of the best.... for me it had all the drivers/modules in it for me hardware.. and the colletion of tools is great :p

almost always backtrack 3. Sometimes wifislax or just ubuntu.
And I'm trying to add some red hat, but i will always love my first choice: bt (L)

I use FreeBSD or Windows when hacking. And use my own networking tools.
