Just my usual Ubuntu setup.
As long as all the drivers work and stuff, installing additional software like that in BackTrack 3 is piece of cake.
There's no "basic" procedure for hacking I think. Obviously there are the aspects of hiding, scanning, sniffing, analyzing, injecting, deploying and cleaning up.
well all i really want at the moment is for some one to hack a account for me i am right now learning how to hack so i am not experianced:S im learning the language
I use BT3 with lots of my own tools i have scripted
also use rethat and vector linux, i find vector stable and fast compaired to backtrack but backtrack is easy to deploy
